LOCAL PARTNERS

L’Abri’s project is built through a voluntary approach of partnerships with local cultural institutions, with the intention of creating programming platforms for up-and-coming artists. In this context, L’Abri focuses on creating links between venues and the Associated Artists.
LA BÂTIE – FESTIVAL DE GENÈVE
EMERGENTIA : PAVILLON – ADC, TU – THÉÂTRE DE L’USINE, L’ABRI
C’EST DÉJÀ DEMAIN : Théâtre du Loup, Le Grütli – Centre de production et de diffusion des arts vivants, Théâtre Saint-Gervais Genève, L’Abri et La Fête du Théâtre
Since 2018, L’Abri and La Bâtie have developped a partnership that aims to support emerging artists. Each year, we organise a seminar for L’Abri’s Associated Artists in close collaboration with the festival.
Each year, La Bâtie launches a call for project for L’Abri’s residents with the aim of co-producing one or two projects for the next edition. So far, the following projects have been co-produced by the two structures: “D’amour et d’eau fraiche” by Remi Dufay (2019), “Pas de deux” by Anna-Marija Adomaityte in collaboration with Gautier Teuscher (2021) and “Super Flumina Babylonis” by Louis Matute (2021).
EMERGENTIA is a platform for contemporary and emerging choreographic creation. The fruit of a collaboration between L’Abri, the Pavillon – ADC and the TU – Théâtre de l’Usine, Emergentia is born from the shared desire to support contemporary and emerging choreographic creation, from the desire to create an open, abundant and generous platform of discovery… The programming, developped jointly by the three venues, combines a mix of local and international pieces as well as the co-production of several local creations through the framework of the festival.
The excitement of first times! The purpose of the C’est déjà demain festival is to present the first projects of new creators from the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Théâtre du Loup, Théâtre Saint-Gervais Genève, L’Abri, and Le Grütli – Centre de production et de diffusion des arts vivants are pleased to come together to present its next edition. Sketches, first drafts, first and second projects, end of master’s studies performances: a compact, diverse and promising program!
