Agathe de Limoges

Agathe is an artist who’s writing. Although she comes from a dynasty of marble workers and suppliers, she does not sculpt stone. Surrounded by hustlers, she organizes events at Le Trou (The Hole) (Geneva, CH) in order to step outside of the standby position in which artists can sometimes get tangled up and remain.
Agathe de Limoges graduated from the Work.Master program at HEAD - Genève. She writes texts that are both biting and humorous, sometimes chanting them within fragile installations to audiences in a delinquant manner. Through her practice, she explores the margins and absurdity of everyday life. Her recent texts speak of rotten apples, licking tongues, well-organized happiness, in-between spaces, dust, and risk assessment scales. In parallel, she is the co-founder of the art space Le Trou along with Montserrat Mayor, a white cube set in a former garage pit in Lancy.
